Garrett Stoerger has been involved in agriculture his entire life, growing up on a grain farm in the Midwestern United States. He has experience with agricultural production operations, agribusiness management, and financial management. His responsibilities include new business development, transaction management, sourcing qualified buyers and investors, strategy development, financial valuations, and industry analysis. 

Mr. Stoerger is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) providing a full range of business valuation services and a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

Mr. Stoerger was named a Partner in the firm in 2015 and became Managing Partner in 2023. Prior to joining Verdant Partners in 2009, Mr. Stoerger worked for the University of Illinois Extension, offering educational programs to agribusiness professionals across the country. He holds a degree in agricultural economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is an active member of several agriculture industry trade organizations.
