Lajos Zubek – Associate (Central & Eastern Europe)

Mr. Zubek has been a seed industry professional for more than 30 years, with comprehensive experience in corn, sunflower, sorghum, and safflower production. This includes seed production experience in Hungary and in several other countries, including Russia, Czech Republic, Germany, Bulgaria, Iraq, Nigeria, and Mexico. He also has a deep knowledge of regulatory systems in Eastern Europe.

In 1989, Lajos was engaged by Agrigenetics / Mycogen (Dow) as an adviser for Eastern Europe and soon became Managing Director for Hungary. He remained in the Mycogen/Verneuil group of companies until 2001. Subsequently, Lajos has provided expertise in regulatory affairs and marketing to the Hungarian operations of leading companies.
