David J. Palmer - United Kingdom

Mr. Palmer is a qualified English lawyer with over 40 years experience of managing and advising companies involved in the international seed business. He has been responsible for the management of, and the arrangement of funding for, both start up and mature seed companies in Brazil, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Morocco, Romania and Spain. He has also worked extensively in the USA. Additionally, Mr. Palmer has been responsible for the purchase and sale of operations as well as the creation of joint ventures relating to those companies under his management.

Since the mid-nineties, David Palmer has acted as an international agribusiness consultant, formerly working with Dow AgroSciences and Groupe Verneuil as principal clients. From 1984 to 1995 he founded and managed Eurosemences SA, a research based seed company in France, controlled successively by United AgriSeeds Inc, Dow Elanco and Groupe Verneuil. From 1972 to 1984 Mr. Palmer held various senior management positions within the then Royal Dutch Shell owned Nickerson Seed Companies in Brazil, France and Great Britain.

Mr. Palmer speaks English, French, and Brazilian Portuguese.
